About Ásco ehf.
Over 35 years of vehicle electrical expertise in Akureyri
Our History
Ásco ehf. was founded in early 1990 as a machine shop handling metal and aluminum work. Over the years, the business shifted toward specialized vehicle electrical repair.
In 1999 the company became a private limited company and acquired its current facility at Glerárgata 34b — a spacious, well-equipped workshop built for serious automotive work.
In 2009, Hörður Ingólfsson purchased the company and significantly grew both the parts inventory and service offering. Today, Ásco is Akureyri's trusted name for vehicle electrical and mechanical work.
